Do you like old trains? If so, you should make your way down to the The Railway Museum Of Greater Cincinnati. Located in Latonia Kentucky, it houses a trove of transportation treasures that will transport you back to a time when trains were the preferred method of travel. Alliteration aside, it was fascinating to see old Pullman passenger cars, military transports, and historic engines marked by signage of railway companies who eventually merged into larger organizations. This is a great destination for children of all ages, the volunteer’s are energetic and knowledgeable, and you may just find yourself, caught Somewhere In Time.
CG&E Model Trains
Seeing these real life titans of history brought me back to my childhood. As a young man, my grandfather brought me to the CG&E building where an extensive model train display served to delight and stimulate my imagination. The cookies and hot chocolate were a grand touch. Thank you joining us on this adventure. Feel free to share and comment. All aboard for the Murphy-Cam Express!
