Talk To The Homeless
May 8, 2019

I want to encourage you to talk to the homeless. Imagine walking through a world where no one acknowledges your existence. And if they do, it is only to belittle or humiliate you. Imagine the loneliness, isolation, and depression. Imagine not knowing what, or if, you will eat today, or where you will sleep tonight. Allow yourself to step into those shoes for a moment. Now imagine a smile, a hand shake, or someone stopping to ask how your day...

Light Therapy At Night
May 7, 2019

Flying Pig Marathon
May 4, 2019

There will be a half and full marathon, plus a 2 mile Flying Fur event for dogs and their human companions. Murphy and I will not participate directly, but will certainly cheer on the participants. Over 36k are expected to take part in the festivity’s...

Visions of black ties, evening gowns, and champagne pass through my imagination. A wisp of Bix Beiderbecke, or Benny Goodman hang in the air. Well heeled passengers queue up to board a finely appointed Pullman rail car at Union Terminal for destinations unknown. I...

Take some time to view the podcast and pick up a copy of the new book, Year of the Flood! Thank you for your support and kindness! Happy...
